Profile
Your name, photo and language — the account settings that follow you everywhere on Endless.
Settings → Account → Profile is the page about you, described there as "How others see you on Endless." It is the first thing in the settings menu, and every member can open it whatever their role — there is nothing to unlock here.
Your account is not part of any workspace. Change your name or your photo once and it changes everywhere you appear: in mentions, in chat headers, in the member directory of every workspace you belong to.
This is also where Endless puts you when you follow a link to a settings page your role can't open. Landing on Profile is the redirect, not an error.
What you can change
Profile photo
"Shown in mentions, comments, and headers." Use "Upload" — or "Replace" once you have one — and "Remove" to go back to your initials. The hint under it: "PNG or JPG, 2 MB max. 400×400 recommended".
Identity
"The name and email tied to your account." First name and Last name are yours to edit. Email is shown but not editable here — it is the address you sign in with.
Preferences
"Language and communications." Pick the language Endless speaks to you in. The field says it plainly: "Applies immediately."
The photo and the language take effect the moment you set them. Your name doesn't — it is a form, so press "Save changes" in the page header when you're done.
Deleting your account
The Danger zone at the foot of the page holds one action, "Delete account", described as "Permanently deletes your account and everything only you can reach. This can't be undone."
This is not the same as leaving a workspace. Deleting your account also deletes any workspace where you are the only member, and everything in it. If you only want out of one workspace, use "Leave workspace" on the Workspace page instead.
Endless walks you through it rather than taking the click at face value:
- It lists the workspaces that would be deleted with you, under "You are the only member of these workspaces."
- For workspaces where you are the last admin but not the last member, it asks you to hand the role over first — "Select new admins for your workspaces."
- Only then does it let you continue, and it asks you to type a confirmation phrase before the final "Delete my account".
