Social research

Ask chat about public accounts, posts, comments and searches on Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook and Reddit, and what lookups cost.

Chat reads public data from Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, LinkedIn and Facebook. There's nothing to connect: ask in an ordinary chat and the answer includes numbers and links.

Ask for social data

Ask in your own words. Endless picks the platform and the lookup.

Pull @glossier's last 20 Instagram posts and their TikTok posts from the same weeks. Which formats got the most engagement, and what are they doing that we aren't?

One question can cover several platforms; each lookup is charged separately.

What you can look up

On every platform:

  • An account: profile, channel, page or company, with followers, bio, verification and totals.
  • Its posts: recent or top posts, sorted by recency or engagement.
  • One post and its comments.
  • A search by topic, keyword, hashtag or brand, usually within a time window.
  • Trends: X by location, TikTok trend charts, YouTube trending by region.

Extra per platform:

PlatformAlso reads
InstagramStories (no view counts) and highlights.
XFollowers and following of an account; who liked or reposted a post.
TikTokHashtags, every video using a sound, top ad creatives by country.
LinkedInPeople and companies separately; people search by name and job title.
FacebookGroups as well as pages.
RedditPlatform-wide search or one subreddit's feed.

Public data only. Endless isn't logged in anywhere, so private accounts, DMs and follower-only posts are out of reach. Web search can't read these platforms (they show a login page), so Endless uses these lookups instead.

Cost

Each lookup is a paid step at a flat price, shown under the reply. A profile, a page of posts and a comment thread are three lookups. A question about every post from many accounts takes dozens. Failed or declined lookups aren't charged. If your workspace asks before spending, a "Look up social data?" card shows the cost first. See credits and spending.

When a lookup fails

  • Rate limited (for example "LinkedIn data is rate limited right now"): the platform is limiting requests. Try again later.
  • Timed out or unavailable: the platform or provider didn't answer. Try again later.
  • Not found: the account or post doesn't exist, is private, or the handle is misspelled.

If the same lookup fails for hours, tell support the account and platform.

X trending-topic searches need Radar turned on for your workspace. Everything else works without it.
