Mentions

Type @ to bring a project, transcript, model, tool or social handle into your prompt, or / to insert a skill, and attach or detach projects.

In the composer, @ brings something into the prompt and / inserts a skill. Both open a menu you can filter by typing.

What @ brings in

MentionEffect
ProjectAttaches the project: its knowledge and skills load into the chat and stay loaded. See below.
TranscriptGives Endless that transcript to read.
ModelUses that image or video model for this request. It doesn't change the chat's model, which stays whatever "Select model" shows.
@imageTurns on Image mode (below).
@videoAsks for a video clip in that message.
@radarTurns on Radar mode, with a control for how recent results should be.
Social handleType @ and a handle, then pick the platform: Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn or Facebook.

You can't mention people. There's no way to notify a teammate from the composer.

Image mode and Radar mode

With @image, an "Image" pill appears in the composer, the model picker lists image models, and every message makes an image. With no model picked, it uses the cheapest image model your plan allows.

Both modes stay on for that chat, on that device, until you switch them off from the pill. Deleting the mention from a draft doesn't switch them off.

What / inserts

Typing / opens "Insert a skill": the skills turned on for you, plus "Manage skills" and "New skill". An admin sets which skills the workspace has; you choose from those. See skills and knowledge.

"Open add menu" shows the same catalog (projects, transcripts, models, tools and skills) as a list, with "Attachments" at the top for files. See attachments.

Attach and detach a project

  1. Type @ and the project's name. A chip appears above the composer: "This project's knowledge and skills are loaded into this chat."
  2. The project stays attached for every later message. Endless can also attach a project itself when the work is clearly about it.
  3. To detach, select "Remove from chat" on the chip. Earlier mentions don't re-attach it; mention it again to re-attach.

Detaching is remembered only in this browser. On another computer, another browser, or after clearing site data, the project is attached again. Detach it again there.

Attaching a project is different from filing a chat in it. See projects.

Why something isn't in the menu

  • A model is disabled for your workspace: it isn't listed anywhere and chat can't use it.
  • Your plan doesn't include a model: it's listed but dimmed, with the plan it needs.
  • You can't open it: only projects and transcripts you can open appear.
  • The feature is off: @image, @video and @radar disappear when the workspace turns off that feature.

Models and features are turned on and off in Settings → Governance. See roles and permissions.
