Keyboard shortcuts
Every key combination Endless actually listens for, and where each one works.
Endless is not a shortcut-heavy product. There are four keys that work anywhere, and then a handful of surfaces — the composer, a transcript, a canvas — that add their own while you're in them. This page is the whole list.
Press ? from anywhere to see the short version in the app. It opens a
dialog listing the four global ones. Everything below that isn't in that
dialog is documented here and nowhere else.
Mac and Windows
Almost everywhere, ⌘ and Ctrl are interchangeable. Endless doesn't check
which platform you're on for these — Ctrl+K opens the palette on a Mac and
⌘K opens it on Windows. The tables below write the Mac form. The one
exception is saving a skill file, which really is ⌘ on a Mac and Ctrl
elsewhere.
Anywhere in the app

? only works when you aren't typing — in a composer or any text field it's just a question
mark. ⌘B works wherever there's a sidebar to collapse, which is the workspace and its
settings.
In the composer
The composer is the same component everywhere you find one: the workspace home, a chat, the Image and Video pages, the generate bar on a canvas, and Social radar.

Just start typing. With nothing else focused, typing a letter puts the cursor in the composer and keeps the character you typed — you never have to select the field first. Space is left alone, so it can still scroll the page and press whatever button you'd tabbed to.
On a phone or tablet, Enter is a line break and the send button is the only way to send. That's deliberate: a thumb hits Return by accident far more often than a keyboard does.
While you're dictating, Enter stops the recording and keeps the words, and Esc throws the recording away — see Dictation.
In a chat

⌘J only has something to show when the conversation has produced a document or artifact. With
nothing open it does nothing visible.
Forms and dialogs

This works on Endless's own forms — inviting people, creating a team, naming things — so you can finish a dialog without reaching for the mouse. The invite dialog takes it from the email field too.
Looking at an asset

In a transcript

⌘F is taken over while a transcript is open. It searches the transcript rather than opening your browser's own find bar. Space, ← and → step out of the way whenever you're typing in a field or have a button focused.
On a canvas

A board also carries the drawing shortcuts of the canvas itself — tools, undo, zoom, grouping. Right-click anywhere on the board and the menu shows each one next to what it does, which is more reliable than a list here.
Editing a skill

This is the one place that tells a Mac from a PC properly: ⌘S on a Mac, Ctrl+S everywhere else. Esc deliberately does nothing when there are unsaved changes, so you can't lose work to a stray keypress.
Resizing a panel
Tab to a panel's drag handle and ← and → move it, Shift with them moves it faster, and Home and End send it to its limits. That works on the chat document panel and on the asset preview.
Surfaces you can't see don't have shortcuts. If Canvas, Transcripts or Assets are switched off for you, so are their keys — see Feature availability.
