Claude Sonnet 4.6 is a chat model by Anthropic. In Endless it costs 243 credits per 1M input tokens and 1215 per 1M output tokens, on the Hobby plan and up.
Claude Sonnet 4.6 is Anthropic's February 2026 Sonnet for everyday coding, writing and analysis, with a 1M-token context for long documents.
Claude Sonnet 4.6 came out in February 2026 and brought results that used to call for an Opus-class model into the Sonnet tier. It reads context before modifying code and consolidates shared logic instead of duplicating it. It also improved clearly at computer use, such as navigating complex spreadsheets and filling multi-step web forms. It takes text and images.
Its 1M-token context fits a whole codebase, a lengthy contract or dozens of research papers in one request, so it works well for questions across large document sets, everyday code fixes, front-end changes and office tasks. It follows instructions closely and makes fewer factual slips than the Sonnet models before it.
Claude Sonnet 5 and Claude Sonnet 5.5 have since raised the bar on agentic work and speed. Sonnet 4.6 stays a familiar option for teams with prompts and workflows already tuned to it, and you can switch models in the same workspace.
