What is an AI voice changer?

An AI voice changer takes a recording of someone speaking and says the same words again in a different voice. This is called speech to speech. Unlike text to speech, it starts from audio, so it keeps how the line was performed: where the speaker paused, which words they stressed, how fast they went and how the sentence rose or fell.

That matters when the delivery is right but the voice is not. You may have recorded a demo yourself and want a steadier narrator, or need one voice across recordings made by different people, or want a character to sound different from the person who acted it. Speech to speech changes the voice and keeps the performance.

  • Is the AI voice changer free?

    You can start free. A free Endless account comes with the Free plan, which gives your workspace 100 credits when you create it and 50 credits every week. ElevenLabs v4 and v3 are available on the Free plan, and each run spends credits from that balance. Paid plans add more credits.

  • How much does it cost to change a voice?

    The cost depends on the model and on the length of the recording, so a longer file spends more credits. The agent tells you the cost before it runs, so you know what will be spent from your workspace balance.

  • How is this different from text to speech?

    Text to speech starts from written words and the model decides how to say them. A voice changer starts from a recording, so the pauses, pacing and emphasis come from the person who spoke. Use it when the performance is right and only the voice needs to change.

  • Which voices can I change into?

    Any Endless voice in your workspace, such as Aria or Roger, or a workspace voice. You can design a voice from a written description, or clone your own from recordings of you after confirming you have the right to use it.

  • What recording works best?

    A clear recording of one person speaking, with little background noise and no music. Audio files such as MP3, WAV or M4A work. The output follows the original closely, so mumbled words or long silences carry over too.

  • Can I change my voice into someone else's?

    Only into a voice you have the right to use: an Endless voice, a designed voice, or a cloned voice of a person who agreed. Do not use it to impersonate anyone or to make a person appear to say something they did not say.

  • Is my recording private?

    Recordings you attach and the new versions are saved in your workspace. They are private by default, and you choose whether to share them with teammates. Endless does not post or publish your files anywhere.
