Gemini 3.8 Flash is a chat model by Google. In Endless it costs 121.5 credits per 1M input tokens and 607.5 per 1M output tokens, on every plan.
Gemini 3.8 Flash is Google's most capable Flash model, built for long software tasks and agent workflows that need fast answers at a Flash budget.
Gemini 3.8 Flash is the newest release in Google's Flash line, the tier between the Pro models and high-throughput Flash-Lite. It is built for long-horizon software engineering and autonomous agents, and it improves on 3.7 Flash in coding, agentic tasks and multi-step reasoning. It reads text, images, video, audio and PDFs, accepts about 1M tokens of input and writes up to 65,536 tokens per reply.
Teams pick it when a job has many steps but still needs a quick turnaround: tracing a bug across several files, turning a long spec into tickets, planning a migration, or pulling figures out of a chart-heavy PDF. It spends more tokens than 3.7 Flash in exchange for higher accuracy and steadier results, which pays off on tasks where one wrong step means redoing the work.
Gemini 3.6 Flash is now the previous-generation Flash model, so 3.8 Flash is the better fit for coding and agent work at Flash speed. Gemini 3.1 Pro stays the Pro-tier option when you want slower, more careful reasoning over long material. All three live in Endless chat, and you can switch between them in the same workspace.
