What is AI lip sync?

AI lip sync changes the mouth movements in a video so they match a different audio track. You give the model a clip of someone speaking and the new speech, and it redraws the mouth frame by frame so the words line up. The rest of the shot stays as it was. It is used to fix a line, replace a take or dub a video into another language.

Reshooting a line means getting the speaker, the set and the light back together. With lip sync you change the audio and keep the footage. Teams use it for corrected product names, new intros, localized ads and voiceovers for clips filmed without usable sound. It works best when the face is clear and turned toward the camera.

    You can start free. A free Endless account comes with the Free plan, which gives your workspace 100 credits when you create it and 50 credits every week. Sync 3 and VEED Lipsync 2 are available on the Free plan, and each run spends credits from that balance. Paid plans add more credits.

  • How much does lip sync cost?

    Lip sync charges per second of video, and the rate depends on the model. A longer clip costs more. Having a voice read a script spends credits too. You can ask the agent for the cost before it runs, so you know what it will spend from your workspace balance.

  • What files do I need?

    A video where the speaker's face is clearly visible, and the speech you want them to say as an audio file. If you do not have the audio, give the agent a script and a workspace voice reads it first. Use audio about as long as the clip; with Sync 3 the result stops at whichever is shorter.

  • Which voices can read my script?

    Every workspace has Endless voices ready to use. You can also describe a voice and the agent designs one, or clone your own voice from recordings of you. Before a voice is cloned, Endless asks you to confirm that you have the right to use it.

  • Can I lip-sync someone else's face or voice?

    Only with their permission. Use footage of yourself or of people who agreed to it, and do not make anyone appear to say something they did not agree to say. Endless asks you to confirm consent before it clones a voice.
