The best ChatGPT alternatives in 2026 for teams that want more models
Claude, Gemini, Poe, Magai, TypingMind, OpenRouter and Endless: which ones give you models from more than one company, how they bill a team, and where ChatGPT is still the better choice.

ChatGPT runs OpenAI's models, and for a lot of work that's enough. The reason most people start looking around is the models: Claude for long writing, Gemini for Google's tools, an open model for cheap bulk work, or image and video models for the campaign that the copy belongs to. Paying for each assistant separately adds up, and none of them knows what you told the others.
This guide covers seven alternatives. Two are single-company assistants (Claude and Gemini), four put many companies' models in one place (Poe, Magai, TypingMind and Endless), and one is an API router (OpenRouter). We make Endless, so read our section with that in mind.
How we compared them
We read each company's homepage, pricing page and help pages and link every price to its source. Prices are in US dollars, monthly unless we say otherwise. We describe what each company says its product does; this is not a hands-on benchmark.
What ChatGPT costs today
ChatGPT has a free plan, Plus at $20 a month and Pro from $100. Business seats are $25 a month ($20 on yearly billing), with a premium seat at $125 ($100 yearly) for teams of 2 to 200. Sources: ChatGPT pricing and Business pricing. For the plan-by-plan detail, see our ChatGPT pricing guide.

Endless

What it is. A shared workspace where a team picks a chat, image, video or audio model for each task, and everyone spends from one credit balance.
Best for. Marketing teams and agencies that write, design and edit video in the same project and want more than one person in it.
Key features.
- Chat models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, Moonshot AI, Alibaba, DeepSeek, Mistral, Z.ai and others, next to image, video and audio models. The models page lists each one with its price per million tokens or per output.
- Projects that keep a brand's voice, references and rules, and load them into every chat.
- Transcripts of recordings and social research tools in the same workspace.
- A remote MCP server on every plan, so Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and VS Code can work with your workspace.
Pricing. Free with 50 credits a week. Hobby $23 a month for one person, Basic $49 for up to 10 seats and Pro $99 for up to 50 seats; credits are shared and seats aren't charged one by one. Endless pricing.
Limits. Endless is a workspace, not a coding tool: if you mostly want an agent in your terminal, Claude Code or Codex fit better. The REST API is part of the Business plan.
Claude

What it is. Anthropic's assistant, on web, desktop and mobile, with Claude Code for software work.
Best for. Long writing, analysis and coding, by people who are happy with one company's models.
Key features. Projects, memory, artifacts, connectors to your apps, Claude Design, Slides and Docs, and Claude in Chrome and Microsoft 365 on paid plans.
Pricing. Free; Pro $20 a month ($17 on yearly billing); Max from $100. Team seats are $25 a month ($20 yearly), with premium seats at $125 ($100 yearly), for teams of 2 to 150. Enterprise is $20 per seat plus usage at API rates, with a 20-seat minimum. Claude pricing.
Limits. Anthropic models only, and usage limits that reset every five hours plus weekly caps on paid plans. Its pricing page lists no image or video generation models.

Gemini

What it is. Google's assistant, connected to Gmail, Docs, Drive and Search, with image and video generation.
Best for. People and teams who already work in Google Workspace.
Key features. Gemini's Flash and Pro models (Gemini 4 Argon on AI Pro), video generation, Daily Brief, Google Flow credits for its creative studio, and cloud storage bundled with the paid plans.
Pricing. Free; Google AI Plus $4.99 a month; Google AI Pro $19.99 (with 5 TB of storage and 1,000 Flow credits); Google AI Ultra from $99.99. Gemini subscriptions, US prices.
Limits. Google models only. Plans are tied to a personal Google account, and availability and prices change by country.
Endless vs Gemini, fact by fact
Poe

What it is. Quora's chat app with official bots for models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, Moonshot and others, plus millions of user-made bots.
Best for. Individuals who want to try many models, including image models, from one account.
Key features. Group chats with several bots, interactive canvases, per-message budgets and shared subscriptions for family, friends or a team.
Pricing. Poe bills in points. Free users get points every day; subscribers get more and can buy add-on points, at about $30 per million points. Poe's subscription prices aren't shown without signing in. Poe FAQ.
Limits. Each message's cost depends on the bot, so a month is hard to budget. In a shared subscription only the subscriber can buy more points.
Magai

What it is. A chat app with models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, DeepSeek, Meta and others, plus image and video models.
Best for. Individuals and small teams who want to switch models in the middle of a chat without paying for each assistant.
Key features. Model switching mid-chat, auto routing, reusable agents, scheduled tasks, a document editor next to the chat and 150+ integrations.
Pricing. Standard $20 a month, Pro $40 and Ultra $200; each plan buys that amount of monthly usage across the models. On Standard, each extra user is $20. Magai pricing.
Limits. The most expensive models are reserved for Pro and above, and the monthly usage is a dollar budget, so heavy use of premium models runs out faster. There's a 30-day refund instead of a free plan.
Endless vs Magai, fact by fact
TypingMind

What it is. A chat interface where you bring your own API keys from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and 20+ other providers.
Best for. Individuals who want one interface for every model and are happy to pay each provider per token.
Key features. Parallel multi-model chats, projects and folders, artifacts, plugins and MCP servers, agents and RAG over your files. It also accepts cloud credits from AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenRouter and Vercel AI Gateway.
Pricing. A one-time license: Standard $39, Extended $79 and Premium $99 (shown 50% off its $198 list price). A bulk license for up to 10 users was $395. API costs are extra. TypingMind pricing.
Limits. You manage API keys and pay several providers separately, which is cheap for light use but harder to control for a team. TypingMind for Teams is a separate product.
Endless vs TypingMind, fact by fact
OpenRouter

What it is. One API for 500+ models from 80+ providers, with one bill.
Best for. Developers building their own product who want to switch models by changing one string.
Key features. Auto-routing and fallbacks between providers, activity logs, budgets and spend controls, and a chat page to try models.
Pricing. Free, with 25+ free models. Pay-as-you-go adds a 5.5% platform fee (Standard) or 8% (Business) on top of each model's price. OpenRouter pricing.
Limits. It's an API, not a workspace for a marketing team: there's no place to keep brand rules, review a video or share a project.

FAQ
What is the best ChatGPT alternative with multiple models?
For one person, Poe, Magai and TypingMind all give you models from several companies. For a team that also needs image, video and audio models with one shared budget, Endless. For developers, OpenRouter.
Is there a free ChatGPT alternative?
Claude, Gemini, Poe, OpenRouter and Endless have free tiers. TypingMind has a free trial of its interface, but you pay for the API calls.
Can I use ChatGPT's models outside ChatGPT?
Yes. OpenAI's models are available through its API, so Poe, Magai, TypingMind, OpenRouter and Endless all offer GPT models next to others.
Which alternative is cheapest for a team?
It depends on headcount. Claude and ChatGPT charge per seat. Endless charges for a shared credit pool, so adding a person costs nothing by itself; Basic covers up to 10 seats for $49 a month.
How did you check these facts?
From each company's own homepage, pricing page and help pages. We didn't sign up for paid plans or run a benchmark.
