ChatGPT pricing in 2026: Free, Go, Plus, Pro and Business
What each ChatGPT plan costs in October 2026, what changes between them, and how the per-seat Business plan adds up for a team. Every price links to OpenAI's own pages.

ChatGPT has five self-serve price points in October 2026: Free, Go, Plus, Pro and Business, plus Enterprise on a quote. This guide lists what each one costs, what you get for the extra money, and what a team pays once seats come in.
We make Endless, which also runs OpenAI's models, so read the last section with that in mind. Every price below comes from OpenAI's pricing page or its help center. Prices change often; if a number here disagrees with OpenAI's page, the page wins.

Free: $0
The free plan gives unlimited text chats with GPT-6, OpenAI says, "subject to abuse guardrails", plus limited uploads, image creation, voice, deep research, memory and Codex. The feature table on the pricing page shows which models each plan can pick: on Free, GPT-6 Luna is the only current model listed.
Go: $6 a month where we checked
Go adds more messages with tools, more uploads, more image creation, more voice chats and longer memory. OpenAI notes on the plan page that Go may include ads.
The pricing page showed us $6 a month for Go when we loaded it from Argentina. OpenAI's Go help article says purchases are in US dollars, with local-currency billing in some countries, and points back to the pricing page for the price. Check it from the country you will pay from before you budget around this number.
Plus: $20 a month
Plus is where the reasoning models start. The comparison table lists GPT-6.1 Sol, GPT-6 Astra, GPT-6 Sol and GPT-5.6 Sol on Plus, none of which appear on Free or Go. Plus also adds projects, scheduled tasks, custom GPTs, expanded deep research and more Codex usage.

Pro: $100, $200 or $500 a month
The pricing page lists Pro "from $100". The Pro tiers article names three monthly plans:
| Pro plan | Monthly price | Ultrafast mode |
|---|---|---|
| Pro 100 | $100 | Not included |
| Pro 200 | $200 | Not included |
| Pro 500 | $500 | Included |
Each tier includes more usage than the one below it. The article also says new Pro 200 subscriptions now come with a lower allowance than the plan used to have, at the same $200 price. Go, Plus and Pro are billed monthly only; OpenAI says it does not offer annual billing for them.
Business: $25 per seat
Business is the team plan, for 2 to 200 people. According to the Business overview, there are two seat types:
- Standard seat: $25 per user per month billed monthly, or $20 billed annually.
- Premium seat: $125 per user per month billed monthly, or $100 billed annually, with 5x the usage of a Standard seat and no 5-hour limit.
A workspace needs at least two seats. OpenAI adds that pricing may vary by country and currency. Enterprise has no public price; the pricing page says to contact sales.
What a team actually pays
Seats are where the cost grows. Five people on Business Standard, billed monthly, cost 5 × $25 = $125 a month, and each seat has its own usage limits. Ten people cost $250. If one of them needs heavier usage, a Premium seat for that person adds $125 on its own.
What the same work costs on Endless
Endless is a shared workspace where a team picks a chat, image, video or audio model for each task, from OpenAI and other makers, and everyone spends from one credit balance. You pay per workspace, not per seat. These numbers come from our pricing page and the live model catalog:
| Endless plan | Monthly price | Annual (per month) | Credits per month | Seats |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 50 per week | 1 |
| Hobby | $23 | $18 | 1,600 | 1 |
| Basic | $49 | $39 | 3,700 | Up to 10 |
| Pro | $99 | $79 | 8,000 | Up to 50 |
Chat models are priced per million tokens. GPT-6.1 Sol costs 162 credits per million input tokens and 810 per million output tokens, and needs no paid plan. A short exchange of about 2,000 tokens in and 1,000 out comes to about 1.1 credits, so Hobby's 1,600 credits cover roughly 1,400 of them. Real threads resend earlier messages on every turn, so long conversations cost more per message than that.
Two differences matter here. ChatGPT gives each Business seat its own allowance; Endless gives the whole workspace one pool, with spending limits per person and per team, so ten people on Basic share 3,700 credits for $49. And on Endless the same credits also pay for image, video and voice models, where ChatGPT's image creation is tied to the plan's limits.
ChatGPT has things Endless doesn't: Codex, ChatGPT Work, Dots agents and OpenAI's own apps. If those are what you use, a ChatGPT plan is the direct way to get them. If your team mostly writes, researches and makes images or video across several models, compare the per-seat total above with one shared Endless plan.
