Claude pricing in 2026: Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise

Anthropic sells Claude on four self-serve plans in October 2026: Free, Pro, Max and Team, with Enterprise priced per seat plus usage. This guide lists what each one costs, how the usage limits work, and what a team ends up paying.

We make Endless, which also runs Anthropic's models, so read the last section with that in mind. Every price below comes from Claude's pricing page or Anthropic's help center. If a number here disagrees with Anthropic's page, the page wins.

Claude plans at a glance

Free: $0

The free plan covers chat on web, desktop and mobile, web search, file creation and code execution, memory, connectors, Artifacts, and Claude Design, Slides and Docs. Sonnet and Haiku are included; Opus is not, according to the plan comparison on the pricing page. Projects are capped at five.

Pro: $20 a month, or $17 billed yearly

Pro costs $20 billed monthly, or $200 a year paid up front, which works out to $17 a month. It adds more usage, Claude Code, Claude Science, Claude in Chrome and Microsoft 365, projects without the five-project cap, Research and the Opus models. Anthropic's FAQ says Pro gives "at least 5x more usage per 5-hour session than Free".

Max: $100 or $200 a month

Max has two tiers, both billed monthly. The Max plan article lists them:

• Max 5x: $100 a month, 5x Pro's usage per session.
• Max 20x: $200 a month, 20x Pro's usage per session.

Both add higher output limits, early access to new features and priority access at busy times. The pricing page also lists monthly API credits for building on the Claude Platform: $100 on Max 5x and $200 on Max 20x.

Team: $25 per seat, or $20 billed yearly

Team is for 2 to 150 people and comes with two seat types:

• Standard seat: $20 per seat a month billed annually, $25 billed monthly. More usage than Pro.
• Premium seat: $100 per seat a month billed annually, $125 billed monthly. 5x the usage of a Standard seat.

Team adds central billing, single sign-on, admin controls for connectors and up to $500 a month in pooled API credits.

Enterprise: $20 per seat plus usage

Enterprise is priced differently from the other plans: $20 per seat a month, billed annually, with a 20-seat minimum, plus usage billed at API rates. That means the bill moves with the models and tasks your team runs. It adds SCIM, audit logs, a compliance API, custom data retention and role-based access.

How the usage limits work

No Claude plan gives a fixed number of messages. Anthropic's FAQ says limits reset on a rolling five-hour window, paid plans add weekly limits on top, and everything you do in Claude on the web, desktop, mobile and Claude Code draws from the same pool. How far a plan goes depends on conversation length, the model and the features you use. On paid plans you can turn on usage credits to keep working at standard API rates once you hit a limit.

What a team actually pays

Five people on Team Standard, billed monthly, cost 5 × $25 = $125 a month, or $100 a month on annual billing. Ten people cost $250 a month, or $200 billed annually. Each seat has its own usage limits.

What the same work costs on Endless

Endless is a shared workspace where a team picks a chat, image, video or audio model for each task, Claude included, and everyone spends from one credit balance. You pay per workspace, not per seat. These numbers come from our pricing page and the live model catalog:

A short exchange with Opus 5.5, about 2,000 tokens in and 1,000 out, comes to about 2.3 credits, so Hobby's 1,600 credits cover roughly 700 of them. The same exchange costs about 1.7 credits with Sonnet 5.5 and about 0.3 with Haiku 5.5. Real threads resend earlier messages on every turn, so long conversations cost more per message than that.

Claude gives each seat its own allowance and includes Claude Code, Claude in Chrome and the Microsoft 365 add-ins, which Endless doesn't have. Endless gives a whole team one pool with spending limits per person and per team, so ten people on Basic share 3,700 credits for $49, and the same credits also pay for image, video and voice models. If your team works mostly in Claude Code, a Claude plan is the direct way to get it. If it writes, researches and produces media across several models, compare the per-seat total above with one shared plan.
