Midjourney pricing in 2026: what each plan costs and how GPU time works
Midjourney's four plans in October 2026, what Fast and Relax GPU time mean in images per month, and which plan a company needs. Every price links to Midjourney's own docs.

Midjourney has four subscription plans in October 2026: Basic, Standard, Pro and Mega. What you buy is GPU time, not a number of images, so the price only makes sense once you know how many images that time buys. This guide covers both.
We make Endless, which runs other image and video models but not Midjourney's, so read the last section with that in mind. Every fact below comes from Midjourney's plan comparison and its billing docs. If a number here disagrees with Midjourney's page, the page wins.

Is there a free plan?
No. Midjourney's free trials article says there is no free trial on the website or in Discord. A limited trial runs in the niji · journey app for iOS and Android.
What GPU time means in images
Midjourney's GPU speed article compares GPU time to the data on a phone plan. Fast time is a fixed amount per month; Relax time is unlimited on Standard and above, but slower.
One image prompt takes about one minute of GPU time, and each prompt returns a set of four images, per the getting started guide. Upscales, unusual aspect ratios and older model versions take longer.

Rough math from those numbers, using the one-minute average:
| Plan | Fast minutes per month | Image prompts in Fast mode | Images (4 per prompt) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | 200 | about 200 | about 800 |
| Standard | 900 | about 900 | about 3,600 |
| Pro | 1,800 | about 1,800 | about 7,200 |
| Mega | 3,600 | about 3,600 | about 14,400 |
On Standard and above you can keep going in Relax mode after Fast time runs out. A batch of four SD videos costs about 8 minutes of Fast time, and four HD videos about 26 minutes.
Two rules affect the real cost. Unused Fast time does not carry over to the next month, even on yearly plans. And extra Fast time costs $4 an hour on every plan.
Which plan a company needs
Every plan comes with Midjourney's general commercial terms. The plan page adds one condition: a company with more than $1,000,000 in gross revenue a year must buy Pro or Mega. Stealth mode, which keeps your images and videos private, is also only on Pro and Mega. For most businesses, that makes Pro at $60 a month the real starting price.
What the same work costs on Endless
Endless doesn't offer Midjourney's models, so this isn't a direct comparison. What it offers is a shared workspace with image, video, audio and chat models from several makers, priced per output in credits from one balance, and paid per workspace rather than per person. These numbers come from our pricing page and the live model catalog:
| Endless plan | Monthly price | Annual (per month) | Credits per month | Seats |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 50 per week | 1 |
| Hobby | $23 | $18 | 1,600 | 1 |
| Basic | $49 | $39 | 3,700 | Up to 10 |
| Pro | $99 | $79 | 8,000 | Up to 50 |
Image models start at these prices per image, at their cheapest settings:
| Model | Credits per image, from | Images on Hobby (1,600 credits) |
|---|---|---|
| GPT Image 2.5 | 1 | up to 1,600 |
| Nano Banana 2 | 5 | up to 320 |
| Seedream 5.0 | 7 | up to 228 |
| Nano Banana Pro | 20 | up to 80 |
If you want Midjourney's look and nothing else, Midjourney is the cheaper way to get a lot of images: Basic's roughly 800 Fast images for $10 is a low price per image, and Standard adds unlimited Relax images. Endless makes more sense when a team needs several image models side by side, plus video, voice and chat in the same workspace, on one credit balance shared by up to 10 people on Basic.
